An online conference was held on May 28-29, 2020 |
Every two years, the Department of Philosophy holds a scientific-practical conference "The problem of human being in socio-humanitarian and medical discourses." This year it was held online. More than 120 participants from different cities of Ukraine and foreign participants from Italy and Serbia submitted materials and expressed a desire to participate in the conference. Opening the event, the Vice-Rector for Research Prof. Myasoyedov V.V. drew attention to the extreme urgency of the conference in the context of the pandemic and the transformation of social values caused by it. Most of the reports were devoted to this issue in one way or another. On May 28, the Round Table "Metamorphoses of the Center and Periphery in the Medical, Gender and Age Dimensions of Inclusion" was successfully held as part of the conference. The organizing committee of the conference expresses its special thanks to the moderator of the event - the head of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology, Medical Psychology and Social Work of KNMU, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Hanna Kozhina, who has been making efforts for the second year in a row to make the topic of the round table crucial and paramount.
Traditionally, the conference is also a platform for the start of scientific research of students. Despite the distance learning, the activity of students is impressive. It is interesting that foreign students showed their own interest and activity this year.
